Welcome to the Triplett Family!
Our congregation is happy to welcome the Triplett family, Rick and Sarah, and their children, Brandon, Tyler and Laura from Rutherfordton.
We look forward to getting to know them better as we all work for the glory of our Lord.
2007 Ladies Day a great success!
Our first annual Ladies Day was held at Spindale House on July 7, 2007. Mary Bonnett of Collierville, TN was our speaker and did a terrific job. Eighty-three women attended from five states including North and South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky. Mary spoke on "Whose Life is it?", which covered many of the struggles we all have with life in this world.
Her stories, props, and especially the selected scriptures were both encouraging and inspiring to all.

Thanks goes to the ladies of the Rutherford church who designed, decorated and ran the event.
Special thanks to the men who help set up and tear down the rooms, care for the children, and prepare our delicious luncheon.
Two souls saved at record-setting 2007 Gospel Meeting!
Our second annual gospel meeting was held during July 8-12 at the Rutherford church of Christ building on Main street in Spindale, NC. Les Bonnett of Collierville, TN spoke again this year and brought many excellent lessons in God's Word to all who came. Our highest attendance for an evening session was 82, which represents a 30% increase over last year's record attendance of 64. Best of all, two precious souls were added to the Kingdom as we were all honored to witness the baptisms of a husband and wife who were visiting from Black Mountain, NC. Praise God! Thanks Les and Mary, for your teaching, encouragement and Christian example!
