About Us We are simply a group of Christians meeting together in Rutherford County, trying our best to follow God's Word, the Bible, in all that we do. We believe not only that God exists, but that He also gave us clear instructions on how He wants us to live and worship. Our organization, roles and responsibilities, acts of worship and service, as well as our religious beliefs come directly from what we find in the teachings and examples in the New Testament. It is our highest goal to be found pleasing to God in all that we do and teach.
Everyone is welcome to attend our worship services and classes.
We began meeting to worship together on September 11, 2005 in our homes and soon thereafter rented a storefront space in Spindale, NC which we converted into a meeting place complete with an auditorium, library and kitchen (which also serve as classrooms), an office, baptistry, nursery and restroom. Our auditorium is capable of seating 100 worshipers, and can double as a fellowship area with tables and chairs enough to seat 50 people. In April 2007, we purchased a plot of land on Oak Street in Spindale near the 74-A underpass for constructing a future meeting place.
We are shepherded by two experienced and godly elders, Jim Waycaster and Harold Williams, after the pattern we find in the New Testament (Titus 1:5-9, 1 Timothy 3:1-11, 1 Timothy 5:17, Acts 20:28, Hebrews 13:17,). We are also served by a deacon, Sam Adams, in like manner (1 Timothy 3:12-13). We are blessed with a number of men capable of teaching and preaching God's Word to adults, with Gilbert Tripp serving as our regular preacher (Romans 10:14-15). We are also greatly blessed with godly women capable of teaching both children and women's classes (Titus 2:3-5).

Our worship is strictly based on the examples we find of the church in the New Testament. We believe that this is the only safe path to be pleasing to God in our worship of Him. Our worship services consist of:
